Terry Kilby, CMPS
Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist
What does it mean to be a “Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist?” The CMPS designation is the highest designation someone can have as a mortgage lender. Only about 1% of the loan officers in the U.S. have this level of training. It means that the person has gone through rigorous training and passed tests which have to do with all types of information which impact mortgage financing – such as tax planning, analysis of debt, managing one’s credit and cash flow, determining how one’s net worth may be impacted by a particular real estate investment etc. So, if you’d like any of the following questions answered (or others), then you need to talk with a CMPS, in general, and Terry, in particular:
Terry Kilby has been in the mortgage industry as a loan officer since 1994. Prior to that, she worked in an investment company selling mutual funds and annuities. And, prior to that, she used to teach handicapped kids. While she can do all sorts of in-depth analysis for you (at no extra charge), she also has a way of communicating your options to you in a way which is easy to understand. She is very good at working with both first time homebuyers and sophisticated buyers and real estate investors.
